I had to skip a GT race for which I intended to race a Fola Aston Martin on the Fola NSF-TX chassis, and therefore decided to use the chassis for a Toyota Group C body that was waiting in the projects line-up.

The body is from a Hasegawa plastic kit, which I have modified with slightly-wider rear track and more narrow side intakes to avoid problems with the body mounts on the chassis. The body is lightened a bit and has homemade vac-formed front window and carbon reinforcement of the front. The spoiler is made from thin plasticard and the mounts are rubber and foam rubber for max flex.

Interior is homemade with vacformed driver and dashboard.

The AAR Gurney decals are from the kit and are a bit crude, but the overall look is OK.

The wheels have my own resin inserts and brake discs. Tyres are Sigma Black Magic foam rubber. Width 13mm.

Chassis is Fola NSF-TX - the GT version which is rebuild with wider sidepans to fit the wider Group C body. You can actually use the same chassis for GT, Group C, and LMP by changing the sidepans and the mounting blocks for the front axle carrier.

I have tested the chassis with the Aston Martin body and it drove as a dream. Now I have to test it with the Toyota.
